Volunteers Needed for MDS 3.0 Taskforce
PANPHA and the Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators (PANAC) are working together
PANPHA and the Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators (PANAC) are working together to identify some helpful resources to use when Care Area Assessments (CAAs) are triggered in the MDS 3.0. We are assembling a Task Force, with the expectation that the group will meet once in person and may meet by telephone if follow-up is needed. Brian Stever, BSN RN, Presbyterian Senior Living, Vice President of the Board of Directors for PANAC, has agreed to chair the Task Force. We will need participants from various departments and professions such as Discharge Planners, Activities, Social Services, Dietary, Wound Nurses, Therapists, Fall Prevention Specialists, Medical Directors, and, of course, Nurses. If you know of some good resources or want to participate, please contact Brian Stever at bstever@presbyterianseniorliving.org
