CMS Announces possible second Train-the-Trainer conference for August 2010!!!

Updated May 12, 2010- CMS is attempting to pull together a second Train-the-Trainer Conference to meet the needs of the community as we enter into the MDS 3.0 era. The high demand to attend the April National Train-the-Trainer Conference did not fully succeed in meeting the needs of all interested parties due to the space limitations. In order for us to better assess a conference location and to approximate the likely number of participants, CMS is seeking input from the nursing home/long-term care community. If you or your organization is interested in attending a CMS Train-the-Trainer conference sometime in August, please send an email to survey@mdsnationalconference.com with the following information by June 1, 2010:
- organization or facility name
- geographic location
- number of interested participants (name and contact information would also be helpful, but is not required).
Thank you in advance for your assistance in helping us evaluate the feasibility of another Train-the-Trainer Conference. Information about any future training opportunities will be announced during the SNF/LTC Open Door Forums, sent out via the SNF/LTC Open Door Forum Listserv and posted on the MDS 3.0 Training Conference page
